Thanks for the St. Ignatius quote. It’s a very effective guide for catechisis. Think how effective it would be if we produced movies that more accurately protrayed the Church’s teachings.

Cecelia, thankfully, I think the Vatican learned from it’s all-out-effort to call for a boycott of the Da Vinci Code which resulted in lots of free publicity for the movie and increased profits for its producers! This time around, they said little and, in doing so, saved lots of emotional and spiritual energy that can be directed to more pressing needs!

Thank you – thank you – thank you!!!! I have been stating the same thing – IT IS A MOVIE!!!!! Movies are for relaxation and entertainment purposes let us leave it at that. There are so many other REAL and happening things RIGHT NOW that we need to take action about right now let us sort out what really needs our attention.
