Creative Catechist Ideas on a Dime

I’ve been exploring various Web sites for creative ideas for catechists that don’t break the bank. One place that I’ve been shopping from for years is Autom. If you’re patient enough to sift through the kitschy and fluffy stuff, you can find some good catechetical tools at very reasonable prices.

An item that recently caught my eye is the “My Faith Poster.”  The poster is 15 x 21 and invites students to express themselves artistically and spiritually…a nice activity for the first day of class that makes for a great display as well. They are only 5 cents each in packages of 50.

I’ll be sharing more ideas in the days ahead (summer is a good time to re-stock your catechetical toolbox without busting your budget!).

  1. Hi, Joe. Autom is indeed like a candy shop for the catechist! Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful online store to all of us!
