Ash Wednesday is only a week from tomorrow! With that in mind, I thought I’d give you a “taste” of Lent! Very soon, we will once again be posting my 40 Ideas for 40 Days of Lent which is always a popular Lenten feature. This year, I’ve updated 5 more activities to keep it fresh so it’s not just the same thing every year. Until then, here is the popular Lenten Calendar for 2013 with the 40 Crosses (developed by California DRE Victor Valdez and updated and translated by Loyola Press each year).

I followed the psalm class today and it went extremely well. My kids wrote their own psalms and they were amazing! They really appreciated listening to the songs and connecting to the psalms. Very good class. Thank you Joe!

I have misplaced the footprint calendar I have used in PSR and Catholic school Kindergarten classes for the past 14-15 years. This idea gives the students goals to work towards! Thanks!
