It’s Time to Begin Reviewing!

It’s hard to believe but it is that time of the year when I begin to review what we’ve learned this year! In other words, I will not be teaching any new material for the remainder of this year! We will review all of our Old Testament stories tomorrow, using my Bible Bookmarks to guide us in locating them in the Bible.

Bible BookmarksHere is the worksheet we will be using. Please note: this is based on the stories and passages we were actually able to cover this year. There are certainly more stories that are of great importance in the Old Testament, however, we could not cover them all given the limited time available in a parish religious education program (that’s not a criticism of the program I teach in…it is simply the reality everywhere).

Next week, we will do a Jeopardy-like review of the whole year followed by a week off for Holy Week, followed by our Mercy Experience to Ronald McDonald House, and then our last class (final assessment) followed by a closing liturgy on May 6.

How’s your “home stretch” looking?
