Forgive me if my mind isn’t fully on catechesis today. The reason? Today is my 27th wedding anniversary! On November 20, 1982, at the tender young age of 23, I married the love of my life, Joanne. I thank God for the many blessings that our marriage has brought into both of our lives and ask God for the grace to enjoy many more years of blessings!
Dinner tonight in downtown Chicago followed by Broadway in Chicago: The Addams Family – A New Musical!
In the meantime, be sure to access all of the goodies that I posted yesterday: resources for Advent from my Advent Webinar that took place Nov. 18. Have a great weekend!
Joe:
I am guessing that for you to be able to do all of the wonderful work that you do in your ministry, you get tremendous support from your wife. Best wishes to both of you for a very happy anniversary and another year filled with God’s many blessings.
Many thanks for all that you do,
Bernie
Bernie, you are absolutely right! Thanks.
Happy Anniversary! What a wonderful sign of love…looks and sounds like Christ’s love for the Church. I have been pondering how each sacrament tells us about WHO we are, as part of the Body of Christ. Thanks for echoing your love for each other to us!!!
In Christ,
I appreciate your thoughts, Barb. Thanks much!
Congratulations to you and Joanne! Enjoy your night in the city.
Thanks, Denise!
Congratulations Joe.
You know what they say? “Behind every great man…..”
You are creeping into legendary territory here in your years of marriage.
Have a wonderful night in our great city!
Hey, who you calling creepy? 🙂
Just kidding. Thanks much, Greg. The night out in Chi Town was wonderful!
The wonder of marriage.
I’m sure my wife wonders often! 🙂
Many congratulations and may God Bless you with many more wonderful years of marriage to come.
Many thanks, Sharon!
Joe,
Belated Happy 27th Anniversary wishes to you and your wife! May God bless you with many many more healthy happy years together!
Thanks, Henry!
Joe,
I send belated anniversary wishes to you and Joanne. We have the same anniversary, my husband Jerry and I celebrated 38 years.
We too dined downtown on Friday evening, what a coincidence.
May you and yours have a happy thanksgiving. I have always loved this time of year, the reason we chose it to be married in November.
Blessings,
Mary Jeanne
Mary Jeanne, thanks and congrats to you and your hubby! Woulda been cool if we bumped into eachother downtown on Friday, eh? Yes, I’m partial to November as well. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
