I’m pleased to present the Spanish version of the “My Lenten Calendar” that is featured as part of my 40 Ideas for 40 Days. This comes to us from Victor Valdez, the DRE at St. Athanasius in Mountain View, CA! Gracias, Victor!
MI CALENDARIO CUARESMA 2010[1]
I also received another take on the Spanish version of this calendar from Nancy Pertierra. Gracias, Nancy!
I always have Spanish kids in my class. I’ll have them point out that Cuaresma, comes from ‘cuarenta’, Spanish for 40.
Many Spanish Catholic terms shed light on the subject in a way that the equivalent English terms don’t.
Good point, Christian.
