As we enter into the Christmas season, I’d like to take a moment to acknowledge the beautiful feet of catechists around the world! The 1st Reading for Mass During the Day on Christmas proclaims:
How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of the one bringing good news,
Announcing peace, bearing good news,
announcing salvation, saying to Zion,
“Your God is King!” (Is 52:7)
May God bless you abundantly for your effortst to be the bearer of good news, announcing peace and salvation to all those you teach! May your beautiful feet continue to sustain you and carry you and the message you proclaim to a world that is in dire need of this good news!
I wish you a very Blessed Christmas!
Joe
Thank you Joe for the meaningful reference to catechists having beautiful feet because of what we do and who we are. I have never read Is 52:7 with that meaning. God bless you for all you do to buid up the Body of Jesus.
Betty
I have never read Is 52:7 with such a personal reference to me. Thank you.
I’ve never seen a Eastern Nativity before, thanks for that image.
