As I’m updating my speaking schedule for 2012, I thought I’d share some details with you about one conference in particular that is getting a lot of people excited. The Mid-Atlantic Congress for Pastoral Leadership in Baltimore, Maryland will take place from March 8–10, 2012 and will host clergy, pastoral life directors, principals of Catholic schools, DREs, faith formation personnel, and many other pastoral leaders. Join the conference and participate in workshops on adult catechesis, youth ministry, and scripture and be a part of keynote sessions discussing the leadership role of hope and how to be hope-filled leaders. Several Loyola Press authors will be leading breakout sessions—including me! I will discuss Practice Makes Catholic: Moving from a Learned Faith to a Lived Faith, and I would love for you to join me. My session takes place on Friday, March 9, from 10:45 to noon.
The Mid-Atlantic Conference for Pastoral Leadership will take place in beautiful Baltimore, Maryland, home of the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The newly built convention center hotel is across the street from the shops of Inner Harbor and within eyesight of the National Aquarium. Sign up by January 15, 2012 and save $25 on registration with an early registration fee of $150. For more information on Mid-Atlantic Congress, visit http://www.midatlanticcongress.org/.
