  1. I love this LifeTeen series. The video for explaining this to Parents is actually the one we are going to use at Mass at the end of August at our parish. All 3 videos on their Vimeo channel are simple, lively and very positive.

  2. VERY GOOD EXPLANATION , but I feel that the changes are minute. Lord I am not worthy to receive you verses under my roof makes makes less sense. And also with you verses and with your spirit, I belive vs. we believe, etc In the ten years that this was worked on, I am sure there were much more important things for the church to be doing.

  3. This translation is a return to the faithful meaning of the original words, which, through inexperience on the part of the bishops, has now been corrected. The accuracy of Liturgical texts is THE MOST IMPORTANT RESPONSIBILITY THAT THE BISHOPS HAVE. They have done their job fully at last! Do not think that this is something which takes away from “more important” tasks. This is our shepherds’ MAIN task. I am grateful to God for this improved translation of our Holy Mass.

  4. I absolutely love this video and want to look at the others in the series. So grateful to your for bringing this to our attention. As a Director of Faith Formation who is also responsible for the Liturgy in our parish, I’m really looking forward to Advent when the changes are implemented. When we respond, “Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul will be healed, we echo the words of the Roman centurion who begged Jesus to heal his servant. What a statement of faith.

  5. Thank you for taking the time to effectively summarize and communicate the process and reason for the changes. This will help me to better explain the changes to my family and neighbors who have questions

    • Wish I could take the credit, Tom, but that video was done by someone other than me! I was just passing it along.
