I’ll be doing a couple of presentations at the Spring Enrichment conference for the Diocese of Albany, New York. As always, I look forward to meeting catechists from another part of God’s world! I’ll be speaking about the Catechist’s Toolbox and about God’s Library (Scripture). I’ll be flying there on “Cloud 9” – that’s where I am following the Chicago Blackhawks’ big win last night!!!

I had a great time Monday afternoon with a wonderful group of DREs, catechists, and pastors at the Minnesota Catholic Education Association. I did a 3-hour stranded session (tiring!) on The Catechist’s Toolbox. One of the most interesting ideas that came out of our discussion was a catechist who was teaching the concept of Church to her class. She arranged to take them on a field trip of sorts. I’m celebrating Catholicism California style at the annual Los Angeles Religious Education Congress, which draws about 40,000 people over four days! It is always an exciting experience.
