Parent Sacramental Prep and Evangelization Videos

Featured Video

Even before the pandemic hit, many catechetical ministers were reimagining their approaches to faith formation, with an eye toward a greater emphasis on evangelization. Of the many opportunities available to us to evangelize, one prominent one is parent sacramental preparation gatherings. Recently, I was asked by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to put together three videos on the topic of sacramental preparation as an opportunity for evangelization with an emphasis on First Eucharist and First Reconciliation.

These free videos, as well as links to other resources for catechists on the theme, “I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you,” are available on the USCCB website. My videos are:

Part 1: What Do We Mean by Evangelization?

Part 2: What Is it That We Are Inviting People To?

Part 3: How Do We Invite People to Encounter Jesus?

I hope these serve you well in your efforts to evangelize families!
