I came across the following recording of a webinar that looks interesting. I haven’t had the time to participate in it myself but I intend to. In the meantime, let me know what you think.

Joe,
Thanks for linking to my webinar! I’ve been getting very good feedback on it and would love to hear your thoughts.
On a more personal note, I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to introduce myself at your brother’s installation as our new bishop last week. I hope you enjoyed your time in Springfield!
Jonathon, I will definitely look at your webinar and will get back to you with some thoughts…it looks like a great resource.
I’ve heard many good things about you and I’m also sorry that we didn’t get to meet last week. I’m sure we will get a chance to meet in the near future. The installation was a wonderful experience and I’m glad my brother has landed among such good folks…take good care of him and I pray he will do the same for you.
Joe
This was a very informative webinar. Thanks for sending it. The final portion which contains practical advice is a real gem! Our parish has been trying to “meet the young people where they are” but we did not have a clear vision on how to reach digital natives. There are some great ideas here to get us started.
Thanks, Mary. I think I’ll view it tomorrow.
Joe –
I am currently enrolled in a Classroom Behavior and Management class. We have been assigned a project to look at classroom management techniques via the internet and we have been instructed to try to make it relevant to the classes we teach. I am a middle school religion teacher and was wondering if you knew of any sites that spoke directly to managing behavior in a religious school setting (not asking for much, aye!)
Blessings,
Sharon
Sharon, I can’t say that I know of any such sites that are dedicated solely to managing behavior in a religious school setting. You of course can click on the CATEGORY on my blog titled “Understanding Kids” to find posts and comments related to the topic (see Categories on the right hand column). Likewise, there a few books that deal with the topic such as my Catechist’s Toolbox (Loyola Press) and Sr. Kathleen Glavich’s Discipline Made Easy (Twenty Third Publications). Maybe some other foks out there have some ideas?
