Headin’ West!

This weekend, along with 30,000 of my best friends,  I’ll be attending the Religious Education Congress of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles!

I’m doing a presentation on Sunday morning titled “The Spirituality of the Catechist: Re-igniting the Flame.”

I look forward to meeting lots of fellow catechists and catechetical ministers as well as seeing many long-time friends, acquaintances, and colleagues.

The RE Congress is an exciting celebration of all things Catholic and I look forward to sitting in on some great presentations and receiving inspiration for the work that I am privileged to be a part of!

  2. I was a bit disappointed when they told me that your your talk is already full. I plan on attenting this for quite sometimes but guess what.!..I’m going to see if I can sneak in…What do you think?

  3. LOVE the work shop! I was able to get in to your workshop without even sneaking, just waited a few minutes outside with few more people like me eager to see our Hero (Joe) was awesome experience for me. This is my first time in LA Congress but has been a catechist for 5 years. I have been a fan of yours, read your books and has you as my Helper when I needed with my lessons. The talk was very helpful and how I wish we could stay longer but you sneek out so quick that I did’nt have a chance to get my pix taken with you. Hopefully next time I will catch you. Your number fan from Sacramento Ca.

    • Hi Evelyn! I’m so glad you were able to squeeze in to the presentation! I hope you enjoyed your first experience of the LA Congress and I hope that I was able to add to that enjoyment. Sorry I had to dash after the talk but I was assigned an 11:30 time slot for book signing. Thanks for all of your kind words and I pray that your 6th year of serving as a catechist is one of great joy!
