A great big SHOUT OUT to the wonderful folks of the Cedar Rapids Diocore (Diocesan Council of Religious Education) of the Archdiocese of Dubuque, Iowa, who came out in strong numbers last night to spend the evening with me learning about The Bible Blueprint! We had a great time at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Hiawatha, IA, and I was so inspired by the enthusiasm of these catechists and their catechetical leaders as they get ready to launch the catechetical year. May the Holy Spirit inspire you and all catechetical ministers to effectively proclaim the Word of God to all those we teach!

Here’s a peek of folks holding/waving their Bibles…the room was so large, I needed to take 2 shots: side A and side B! Below that, you’ll see two of my colleagues from Loyola Press, Sara Kane and Marian Bach, who showed up wearing matching colors…too cute!

  1. With the bulk of our efforts spent in the classroom or doing lesson prep at home, it’s always stimulating & reaffirming to spend time in the company of other motivated catechists like this.
