My Trip East – New York and Columbus

fortune cookieLast week Thursday, my wife and I went out to a Chinese restaurant before I was to leave for a long weekend. My fortune cookie accurately predicted that I would be packing my bag and heading east although not quite as far as to be considered the “far East!” I spent Saturday in the Archdiocese of New York Catechetical Forum and Sunday and Monday in Columbus for the OCEA (Ohio Catholic Education Association) Conference and had a wonderful time at both! I met so many wonderful catechists! Here are some pics of me doing my thing in New York (courtesy of Matt Schiller) followed by a pic of me with hardworking DRE Dave Gruber from St. Elizabeth parish in Columbus, OH, with whom I enjoyed several great chats and my cousin, Sr. Jeanne Conrad, with whom I enjoyed dinner later that day with her sister, Cathie and her husband Bill.
