I noticed that in all your posts categorized as “Art and Music in Catechesis” there is only this one post that deals with visual art, while all the rest are about music. As an art historian, I had the opportunity to give a brief presentation about relevant works of art at scripture study and everyone loved it. I hope to do more presentations and retreats at churches in my area (Atlanta) after I build up a portfolio of examples. To that end I’ve just started a blog about faith and art because I see a need for our Western visual arts heritage to be offered as an aid to prayer and contemplation.
