I’m enjoying my first visit to Duluth, MN, and I have to say that it is simply one of the most beautiful lakefronts I have ever seen! I had a wonderfully relaxing afternoon here yesterday, topped off by a nice 5-mile run along the lake walk. Lots of nice quiet time last evening in the hotel room to get some writing done. Today, I will do a presentation at the Minnesota Catholic Education Association Conference. I look forward to spending a few hours with catechists and Catholic school religion teachers, as we look at skills and strategies for effective catechesis drawing from my book, The Catechist’s Toolbox!

Mid-South Catholic Leadership Conference – Lake Barkley, KY
One of the perks of traveling is, in addition to meeting so many wonderful people, visiting some beautiful locations around the country. Today, I had the privilege of speaking at the Mid-South Catholic Leadership Conference held at Lake Barkley, KY (about 90 minutes south of Nashville, TN). Indeed, I got to spend time with some wonderful catechetical leaders, catechists, diocesan staff, (and even a bishop in the audience!) but I also got to enjoy the […]
A Mile High!
I just spent a wonderful morning with a number of catechetical leaders and catechists about an hour out of Denver in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO! I am especially grateful that everything worked out because just about 36 hours ago, I was in bed with a fever and a cough that had me barking like a dog. Luckily, I was able to see the doc on Tuesday, get some meds, rest up, and fly out Wednesday […]
5 Hours on Church Documents in Dallas!
This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of spending the day (9 am to 3 pm with one hour for lunch) with about 100 catechists in the Diocese of Dallas, TX, exploing Church documents! I know, I know…you’re insanely jealous because you would want nothing more than to spend a Saturday exploring Church documents, right? Believe it or not, we actually had a wonderfully engaging day that went by quickly. When it comes to Church […]

Hi Joe,
I attended your workshops. You did a great job. Three hours is a long time! You offered to share your power point presentation. Can you tell me how to find it? I’d like to share bits with our catechists throughout the first part of the year.
Thanks so much. It looks like you are doing a lot of traveling. Do you get to stay home for a while soon?
Blessings,
Linda
Thanks, Linda. I’ll be in touch with you by email about the powerpoint. Yes, I’ve enjoyed being home and always do!
