Joe Paprocki, DMin, is National Consultant for Faith Formation at Loyola Press, where, in addition to his traveling/speaking responsibilities, he works on the development team for faith formation curriculum resources including Finding God: Our Response to God’s Gifts and God’s Gift: Reconciliation and Eucharist. Joe has more than 40 years of experience in ministry and has presented keynotes, presentations, and workshops in more than 100 dioceses in North America. Joe is a frequent presenter at national conferences including the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress, the Mid-Atlantic Congress, and the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership. He is the author of numerous books, including the best seller The Catechist’s Toolbox, A Church on the Move, Under the Influence of Jesus, and Called to Be Catholic—a bilingual, foundational supplemental program that helps young people know their faith and grow in their relationship with God. I spent a wonderful day with about 75 catechetical leaders in Detroit today at a gathering sponsored by the Detroit Society of Catechetical Leaders. We talked about A Well-Built Faith and how we can help our catechists (and those they teach) to be able to grasp their faith and be able to talk about it with greater ease. Delighted to Be in Duluth!

I’m enjoying my first visit to Duluth, MN, and I have to say that it is simply one of the most beautiful lakefronts I have ever seen! I’m back from vacation and ready to rock and roll! (Must be that stop at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland while on vacation! BTW, one of the most interesting things to see there is the diversity of visitors – saw a kid with a mohawk haircut standing next to an elderly person in a wheelchair, observing an exhibit…very cool!)
