Mid-South Catholic Leadership Conference – Lake Barkley, KY

One of the perks of traveling is, in addition to meeting so many wonderful people, visiting some beautiful locations around the country. Today, I had the privilege of speaking at the Mid-South Catholic Leadership Conference held at Lake Barkley, KY (about 90 minutes south of Nashville, TN). Indeed, I got to spend time with some wonderful catechetical leaders, catechists, diocesan staff, (and even a bishop in the audience!) but I also got to enjoy the beauty of Kentucky (I especially enjoyed listening to bluegrass music in the car as I drove from Lake Barkley to the Nashville airport!). My sincerest thanks to all for the wonderful hospitality and for inviting me to speak at such a great event. Enjoy the rest of your conference!

I’m back from vacation and ready to rock and roll! (Must be that stop at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland while on vacation! I had a wonderful couple of days in Cleveland, spending Friday with catechetical leaders and Saturday with catechists, as they kick-off their catechetical year.
