Teaching During a Year of Faith: A FREE Webinar

Teaching During a Year of Faith

Facilitator: Joe Paprocki, DMin

Brought to you by Loyola Press, A Jesuit Ministry

Tuesday, August 28, 2012

7:00 – 8:00 p.m. (CDT)

Pope Benedict XVI has proclaimed a Year of Faith beginning this October and extending through November of 2013. He hopes that the Year of Faith will foster an encounter with Christ through authentic witnesses to faith and a deeper understanding of the truths of our faith that Jesus revealed.

In this Webinar, Joe Paprocki, DMin, will draw from those goals and offer an opportunity for catechists to focus on our task of teaching during this extraordinary year. The purpose of the Webinar will be how we can more effectively teach in such a way as to foster transformation of hearts and minds and not just the passing along of information. Joe will also focus on how to make our catechesis more evangelizing. This Webinar experience will be a great opportunity for all catechists, including those who are new to the ministry.

Joe Paprocki, is an author, a speaker, and a catechist in the Archdiocese of Chicago with over 30 years of experience in pastoral ministry. Joe, national consultant for faith formation at Loyola Press, is the author of numerous books, including the best-selling The Catechist’s Toolbox and A Well-Built Faith. He is also the host of the blog Catechist’s Journey.

  1. I had registered for this webinar, however, I have had an unexpected work related meeting get scheduled and I will not be able to listen live. I will look forward to listening when it gets posted on the blog. Thanks for making this available. Continued blessings on your ministry.

  2. Joe,
The Webinar was terrific once again. I’m a DRE and have been in ministry many, many years, but I still learned new things or were reminded of them. I’m looking for your PDF documents that you spoke about from your web site. Are they posted yet?

  3. I attended your “Teaching During a Year of Faith” Webinar; it was great! You said that there would be some PDF files that we could download. Can you tell me if they are still available and where can I download them?
    Thank you,
    Carmen
