Our 15th Anniversary Giveaway: Six Weeks with the Bible

"Amos/Hosea/Micah: A Call to Justice" giveaway in honor of Catechist's Journey anniversary

We continue our year-long celebration of the 15th anniversary of the launch of Catechist’s Journey and publication of The Catechist’s Toolbox. Our celebration continues today with the chance to win five copies for your small group of Amos/Hosea/Micah: A Call to Justice, part of the Six Weeks with the Bible series.

The prophets Amos, Hosea, and Micah convey in no uncertain terms what God thinks about oppression, injustice, and neglect of the poor. The blunt language of these prophets can get our attention in a way that few other things can. In this guide, which is divided into six 90-minute segments, I introduce readers to Amos, Hosea, and Micah and our call to create a just world.

Read the official giveaway rules below. Enter by 12:00 a.m. central time on November 17, 2022. Winner will be contacted for address. Open to U.S. mailing addresses only.

  1. I am a retired Director of Religious Education who also used to be a part-time consultant for Loyola Press from 1997-2005. The Six Weeks With The Bible Series is great for individual and/or group studies. Whenever I facilitate adult religious education classes (in my home) and use these books, I get great feedback from those in attendance.
