reader feedback

Now that Catechist’s Journey is preparing to go into dormition (That sounds so much more appropriate than “ceasing” or “ending”!), we want to get a sense of your interests and needs so that we can plan future online experiences. To that end, we invite you to complete a brief survey about your experience with Catechist’s Journey. As a thank you for your completed survey, you’ll be entered in a drawing for a set of three of my books: The Catechist’s Toolbox, 8 Steps to Energize Your Faith, and Preparing Hearts and Minds.*

You are also welcome to give any additional feedback in the comments box (Leave a Reply) below. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and feedback with us!

Start survey.

*Surveys completed with an e-mail address by May 31, 2024, will be entered in our prize drawing. Odds of winning are dependent on number of completed surveys. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid U.S. mailing address to receive prize.

  1. I am so sorry that Catechist Journey is ending. With many of the tools/ideas/printables, I know I have tried to enrich my classes, especially knowing that for the most part we catechists are being encouraged to “follow the book”. I can only state that ‘IT’S COMLICATED”, BUT IN THE LORD’S HANDS”!

    • Thanks, Theresa. To quote Yoda from Star Wars, “Do or do not. There is no try.” I say that to encourage you to believe that you have not just “tried” to enrich your classes, but have actually “done” so and will continue to do so with the Spirit’s help! Keep up the good work!

  2. Thank you, Joe and Loyola Press, for your many years of advice, explanations, words of wisdom, and encouragement. At the end of 2024, I am retiring after 18 years in Faith Formation. Your books, Pop-Up catechesis (which I hope will continue to be accessible), conferences, webinars, and continued encouragement throughout my time in Faith Formation has been immeasurable. God Bless you on your future whatever God has planned for you and Loyola Press.

    • You are very welcome, Maureen! Congratulations on your retirement after 18 years! Well done, good and faithful servant! Thanks for the wishes.

  3. Catechist Journey has been both encouraging and inspiring for so many catechists. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom with us!
