Since beginning my blog about 3 years ago, I’ve been blessed with many people sharing comments from time to time. It just so happens that we recorded the 3000th comment to my blog yesterday and it is from Fr. Duane Pribula (pastor of Our Lady of the Pines parish in Nevis, MN) who attended my workshop on The Catechist’s Toolbox in Duluth, MN, on Monday, August 23, 2010.
Yes, that’s right, a pastor sat there for 3 hours participating in a catechetical workshop! Fr. Duane was a “good student” in the workshop, participating often, sharing comments, asking questions, and being jovial. We were blessed to have him there and it was indeed inspiring to see a pastor so enthusiastic about catechesis! And I’m pleased to offer Fr. Duane a small token of appreciation for posting the 3000th comment on my blog. I’ve contacted Fr. Duane and told him to visit the Loyola Press Web site (www.loyolapress.com/bookstore.htm and to select any 3 trade books that I will send to him at no charge.
