A Facelift for Catechist’s Journey!

Welcome to the new look for Catechist’s Journey!

As we approach the 5th anniversary of my blog in December, 2011, (and the 5000th comment!) we thought it would be a good idea to freshen up the look of Catechist’s Journey.

Because there is so much content on my blog, we decided to re-arrange it so that you can find things more easily. Thus, the new tabs up above (All Things Catechist, Catechetical Issues & Topics, Liturgical Seasons & Feasts, Joes’s Comings and Goings, and Webinars), each with drop-down boxes that further categorize my posts. I hope you find these more convenient than the previous arrangement.

Special thanks to Linnette Mathys, Ray Ives, and Mike Wincek for making this all possible…they keep me (my blog, that is!) looking young!

As we approach the 5000th comment and my blogiversary, we’ll be announcing some fun ways of celebrating…stay tuned!

  1. Hi Joe,
I am a long time reader of your blog. First I’d like to comment I very much appreciate all the time and effort you have put into sharing great information and idea’s to help us on our journey as catechists. In regards to the new format however, I’m not sure I feel it’s as user friendly as the old format. I miss the links you had listed for other helpful sites and when I have attempted to look for info on particular topics, I haven’t been able to figure out how to access the entire description from the original posting. I am looking forward to all you have to share this year in your visits to the “classrooms” of other catechists and wish to thank you once again for the great resource you provide by keeping this blog going !!
