I had a wonderful afternoon with nearly 400 catechists who gathered at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Powell, Ohio, for their kick-off for the year. I was honored to speak on Practice Makes Catholic! Thanks, folks, for a great afternoon!

I’m told that a DRE at a large parish in Albany, NY, recently gathered a number of catechists in one of their homes and viewed my catechist training webinar on a wide-screen TV (hooked up to the computer) while enjoying wine and cheese! I had the most wonderful day yesterday at the Religious Education Congress in Hartford, Connecticut! First, I was priveleged to do the keynote presentation. My topic was: “Do I Look Fat in This? I’m celebrating Catholicism California style at the annual Los Angeles Religious Education Congress, which draws about 40,000 people over four days! It is always an exciting experience.
