Shout Out to Eastern Penn DREs!

These are just some of the happy faces at the 28th annual Eastern Pennsylvania DRE Gathering which took place over the past few days at the Golden Inn in Avalon, NJ. I was privileged to be the presenter for the event, offering 3 presentations over a couple of days, focusing on the theme of “Immersed in Christ – Proud to be Catholic.”

What a wonderful event. Over 100 DREs gather for this formational and fun getaway and a chance to experience renewal and comraderie. It was nice meeting so many people and seeing some familiar faces as well. Special thanks to the folks from the Philadelphia Archdiocese for inviting me to their reception and then to one of their dinner tables. Following dinner, we enjoyed some lively musical entertainment, raffles, and just good clean fun!

Thanks again for having me and may the Holy Spirit continue to inspire each of you and all of your catechists to faithfully and effectively proclaim the Gospel!

  1. +We were blessed to have you as our speaker, Joe! I have already applied much of what you shared with our parish catechists. God bless your ministry.

  2. Hi Joe & friends!!
What a wonderful experience of faith you brought to our gathering. I have already shared the image of “being marinated in the faith” with a number of priests and catechists. All responded immediately with understanding and agreement. You have a great way of moving the intangable into the definable. Please continue your great ministry of the church and calling from Our Lord.
    God Bless!
