Happy Anniversary, Catechist’s Journey! 5 Years!

Can you believe that Catechist’s Journey is about to celebrate its 5th anniversary? Yup, it was on December 12, 2006, that I launched this effort to share my journey as a catechist and to walk with you on your catechist’s journey. Along the way, we have covered many topics, had a lot of fun, dealt with some serious business, shared creative ideas, and solved most of the world’s problems! đŸ™‚ To celebrate this milestone, we’re going to have a video contest beginning this coming Monday. Here’s a commercial telling you all about it. I look forward to celebrating with you throughout the month of December!

  1. Joe – When I agreed to be a catechist to a group of 7th graders a little over five years ago, I wondered what did I get myself into. I had absolutely no teaching background and I work in a busy office in front of a computer screen all day.

I somehow stumbled upon your site and have been hooked ever since. Through your gentle direction and through the posts of other users, I was immersed in the life of a catechist and it now pretty much permeates most everything I do.

Thank you for the past five years and wishing you the blessing of many more!
