Religious Education Family Mass

Yesterday, St. Cajetan’s hosted a Religious Education Family Mass to celebrate what God is doing in the lives of those involved in the RE program. All of the catechists were asked to make displays and we set them up in the back of the church. Before and after Mass, many people browsed the displays and had a chance to meet and talk to the catechists and enjoy refreshments (after Mass!) I had a chance to meet a few more parents of my students and it was very enjoyable. I love how prominently many of us featured the Finding God theme/textbook that we use and that the catechists and kids love so much! The DRE was also giving away copies of Catholic Prayers for Catholic Families, a great resource and one of the many resources (along with CDs, posters, online resources, Exploring Faith Through Art easels, etc) that comes free with the Finding God program or can be purchased separately.
