Last Stop on My Blog Tour: Joliet Joyce!

You’ve heard of “Joliet Jake” from the Blues Brothers, but have you heard of “Joliet Joyce?”

🙂

Joyce Donahue is the last stop on my blog tour for my book, Under the Influence of Jesus: The Transforming Experience of Encountering Christ. Joyce, a Catechetical Associate in the Diocese of Joliet Religious Education Office, writes a wonderful blog at Liturgy and Catechesis Shall Kiss. When it comes to the nuts and bolts of liturgy and catechesis, few people “get it” like Joyce does.

My PhotoJoyce leads off her review of my book by announcing, “An Ordinary Joe Writes and Extraordinary Book.” She goes on to write:

When was the last time you read something about Jesus that mentioned THAT scene from When Harry Met Sally, Wilfred Brimley, sports teams and the Rolling Stones all in the same book? It’s all there, along with lots of other stuff, and somehow, it all makes sense.

You can read her review of Under the Influence of Jesus in its entirety here.

Thanks Joyce!

I hope all of you enjoyed this little blog tour. Thanks again to all of the bloggers, Karen Beattie, Julie Baldwin, Marc Cardaronella, Jonathan F. Sullivan, and Joyce Donahue, for welcoming us to their blogs and for reviewing my book! Time to unpack my bags and enjoy the weekend!

Happy Pentecost everyone!
