Holy Week Activities Pack

Holy Week Activities PackHoly Week is a time set aside to recall the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus. During this week, we prepare ourselves for Easter by prayerfully reflecting upon the events of Jesus’ Passion and Death. Help children and families experience the full meaning of the final days before Easter with our Holy Week Activities Pack.

The pack includes a scrambled words challenge, a crossword puzzle, a visual story strip, and an activity inviting prayerful reflection with the Scripture stories of the Passion. Send children home from your session with the family handout Reading the Passion.

Add a calendar of your parish’s Holy Week liturgies to the family handout to encourage families to participate in these holy days and recognize that this is a special time set apart. The stories we remember in Holy Week are at the heart of our faith, and so I hope that these materials help you lead children to embrace this sacred time with a spirit of gratitude for Christ’s sacrifice.
