Now that my blog is coming up on its 2nd anniversary, it’s time to give my site a little “face-lift!” In just a few days, you’ll notice that Catechist’s Journey has a new look to it while maintaining the same quality content that you’ve come to enjoy.
In addition to the new look, my blog will also be integrated into the new Loyola Press Web site www.loyolapress.com. For the past 7 years, I have had the pleasure and privilege of working at Loyola Press, a Jesuit ministry, in Chicago. As an apostolate of the Chicago Province of the Society of Jesus, Loyola Press seeks to nurture faith-filled lives. This new website offers a wealth of resources for all individuals interested in deepening their friendship with God. From articles around topics about our faith, to discussion groups on subjects that matter the most, to a new blog titled People for Others: Working Together to Find God in All Things, the new Loyola Press Web site offers materials and conversations that are deeply relevant to people seeking to deepen their faith.
The focus of my blog will not change: I will continue to share my journey of teaching the Catholic faith as a catechist and host our conversations about the challenges and rewards of this ministry in which we are privileged to serve. As always, I welcome your feedback and hope that you will take a moment to explore the new Loyola Press site and share your thoughts.
Hi Joe,
Thank you for letting me know about the “People for Others” web-
site. The music and words of the 3-minute Retreat were so inspiring and
peaceful.
Father Paul brings many insights about spirituality and I’m sure
he is going to help so many.
Speaking of retreats, I tried one with my 4th grade students, and
they loved the experience. They cooperated so well and I was proud
of them!
Kate
Kate, I’m glad you enjoyed the 3-minute retreat…they are very nice, aren’t they? I’m glad your 4th graders enjoyed a retreat experience as well!
