Surrounded by Cheeseheads! (And I say that affectionately!)

I enjoyed spending the day yesterday with about 50 “Cheeseheads” which of course is the nickname given to Green Bay Packers’ fans. As they celebrate their Superbowl victory, they were gracious enough to welcome this Chicago Bears fan into their midst for a Being, Knowing, and Doing professional development workshop. We had the most wonderful day together and talked about so many ideas and strategies for taking care of our catechists. Thanks to Gary Pokorny, the Director of Catechesis and Youth Ministry for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee for arranging this fine day! Congrats to all you Cheeseheads (but wait till next year…Da Bears will be back!) Here are some pics from our day yesterday.

  1. Thanks for reenergizing our ministries last week! I tried out some of the spiritual being information with our parents and it was well received. PS: There are some Bears fans out there in Wisconsin 😉

  2. Joe,
This day was WONDERFUL. It’s always difficult to pry myself away from the office because I know what I will face when I return. You made “re-entry” completely worth it. Thank you so much for sharing your great ideas, your materials and your experience!

    Peace and all good things,
    Lisa Jachimiec
