9 Advent Attitudes – Our Advent Journey Begins

9 Advent Attitudes

I’m happy to announce that I will be doing an Advent series (Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) here on my blog, Catechist’s Journey, beginning Monday, December 2, 2013:

9 Advent Attitudes:

How to Dispel the Darkness with Uninhibited Hope

Advent is a season of HOPE…something our world desperately needs. To live as a person of hope is to behave in such a manner as to draw suspicion that we are out of touch with reality! And yet, our hope is solidly grounded in the reality that a light has indeed shone in the darkness. This strange behavior – living as a person of hope – is characterized by 9 “tendencies.” In this prayerful and practical series, Joe Paprocki, DMin, will draw from his upcoming book Under The Influence of Jesus: The Transforming Experience of Encountering Christ, to unpack these 9 tendencies that enable us to light candles instead of cursing the darkness.
