Today’s Lenten activity may be of more interest to DREs than to catechists, however, knowing catechists, they will be able to find ways to adapt some of the activity centers to their classes. Following is an Intergenerational Event which is designed to conclude with a Good Friday prayer service.
Activity Centers for Intergenerational Event: The Passion and Resurrection of Our Lord
This entire intergenerational event is available on the Loyola Press Web site. Here is the description:
There are 10 Activity Center suggestions from which to develop your event. Use them all or choose those best suited for your gathering space, time, budget, and volunteer availability. They’re easy to follow and designed to work effectively as described. You can start small one year and add, adjust, or adapt activities from year to year. The Intergenerational Event is designed to conclude with a Good Friday Prayer Service, which incorporates the Agony in the Garden Drama. An Easter—Resurrection Garden home activity provides a connection to the parish Easter Sunday celebration.

i can’t get onto any of these hyperlinks that you posted in this post. They are locked with a username and password
Thanks, Jessica. Actually, all those hyperlinks are just a repeat of what you’ll find when you click on the intergenerational event. I’m going to remove them…it’s just causing confusion. Thanks for the heads-up.
